Learn your 3DWW Cameras for EASY Viewing and Mobility
CAMERA and AVATAR MOVEMENT:
>> FORWARD: Arrow Up or W key.
>> BACKWARD: Arrow Down or S key.
>> TURN LEFT (Rotate): Left Arrow or A key.
>> TURN RIGHT (Rotate): Right Arrow or D key.
>> RAISE HEIGHT: Page Up key.
>> LOWER HEIGHT: Page Down key.
INTERACT with OBJECTS: Click on objects with your Mouse Hand or Focus on the object using the red circle in the middle of the screen (move your avatar or mouse). Some interactive objects require a two second focused stare to respond.
Consider the camera to be your eyes. It controls where, what, and how you can see. Learn to use the different cameras together for the best experience.
HOT TIP: You can change your camera even while you are moving. Use ESCAPE key to reclaim your cursor.
MIRROR: Look at yourself and navigate at the same time.
FIRST PERSON: Navigate through your avatar's eyes. When you turn or walk, so does your avatar. MouseLook/Turn is disabled on this camera.
BIRD'S EYE VIEW: Camera is above your head. When you turn or walk, so does your avatar. MouseLook/Turn is disabled on this camera.
3RD PERSON with LOOK VIEW: Your avatar is in front of you. You can also drag your mouse across the screen to look around, but be careful. Turning your head, does not turn your feet! If you can't see your avatar directly in the middle of the screen, you are not watching where you are walking.
FREE CAM: Move your camera around without moving your avatar. Excellent during meetings to get a close up view of presentation materials. This camera works a little differently. Please read the notes below.
>> Camera moves in the direction your mouse points.
>> Move forward and back with Up/Down arrow (W, S keys).
>> STRAFE right and left with left/right arrow keys (A, D keys).
>> To turn, rotate your mouse and move forward.
>> To raise your height, look up and move forward.
>> To lower your height, look down and move forward.
***The FREE CAM does not move your avatar. To begin avatar movement again, choose another camera.
